The participation in Tallinn Music Week 2023, realized with the support of the National Culture Fund, situates Metaart Foundation within one of Europe’s key platforms for music, culture, and professional exchange.

Held in Tallinn, the festival combines a multi-genre music programme with an international conference and an extensive city-wide cultural agenda. Bringing together over 1,000 industry professionals and thousands of attendees, Tallinn Music Week operates as both a showcase for emerging artists and a meeting point for managers, booking agents, labels, and cultural policymakers.

Within this context, the project focuses on professional networking, research, and the development of international partnerships. Acting as a representative of the Bulgarian independent music scene, Metaart engages with a wide network of cultural operators, exploring opportunities for collaboration, artist exchange, and future touring initiatives.

The conference element of the festival provides access to established practices and emerging models in cultural management, music export, and festival development. This exchange of knowledge supports the transfer of know-how into the local context, contributing to the evolution of independent cultural initiatives in Bulgaria.

Through this participation, Metaart Foundation strengthens its international network while reinforcing its role as an active mediator between local artists and global cultural platforms.
