Why “carnival” then?

Because six Balkan astronauts played extraterrestrial music inside the Hillock of Fraternity. A free orchestra played the old urban folk tricks to their conductor in the heart of the Hadzhi Hassan neighbourhood. Hot Serbian power jazz was served in double portions at the flee market by the Russian market. And then the Mars express cut through the night as if on its final trip starting at the Central Railway Station, blowing its ambient-rock whistle.

Our Post Kultura project aided the organization and promotion of the Hillock Carnival by operating locally in Plovdiv and helping arrange all the needed musical equipment for the four acts, as well as picking the extraordinary locations where the music was performed.
